Role Summary
Bridge is hiring an Associate for the Operations team to sit at the center of our internal operations. This role blends operations, accounting support and human resources. You will keep our organization running smoothly, ensuring that our internal and external stakeholders have a positive experience while helping us maintain a strong operational foundation as we scale.
You will work closely with the COO and leadership team, as well as our bookkeeping and compliance partners. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, cares deeply about accuracy and follow through, and enjoys switching between finance, HR and general operations in a single day.
What You Will Do
- Coordinate semi monthly or monthly payroll processing, including changes for new hires, terminations, promotions and variable compensation, in partnership with our external payroll provider.
- Support basic accounting activities related to accounts payable and accounts receivable, including gathering approvals, coding invoices and tracking payments.
- Own bill payment workflows for vendors, ensuring timely and accurate payment and clean documentation.
- Coordinate with our external bookkeeping partner to ensure QuickBooks reflects accurate journal entries, classifications and reconciliations.
- Track and reconcile deal and service invoices, ensuring they are correctly issued, monitored and collected.
- Own onboarding for new hires from offer acceptance through the first 30 days, including paperwork, systems access, payroll setup, benefits enrollment and first day experience.
- Coordinate offboarding for exiting employees, including checklists, systems access removal, final pay and documentation.
- Support fund operations and reporting workflows related to capital partner programs and funding joint ventures.
- Assist with employee health benefits, including enrollments, changes, terminations and coordination with brokers and carriers.
- Assist with Carta management
- Help maintain corporate insurance policies, renewals and certificates of insurance.
What You Bring
- 7+ years of experience in operations, finance or general operations, ideally in a startup, or other fast paced environment.
- Working knowledge of payroll, benefits administration and basic HR processes.
- Comfort working with accounting and finance tools such as QuickBooks and billing or expense management platforms.
- Experience coordinating with external vendors or service providers such as bookkeepers, benefits brokers or PEOs.
- Strong attention to detail, with a bias toward accurate records, organized files and closed loops.
- High level of ownership; you follow tasks from start to finish and proactively identify gaps or process improvements.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills and comfort working with team members at all levels.
- Discretion and sound judgment when handling confidential employee and financial information.
