About the Role

This is a pivotal moment to join our team as we are experiencing billions in hotel financing volume, and we are now expanding our footprint. The role reports to directly to our SVP of Commercial Real Estate in NYC, and we are looking for an ambitious, high-energy Hotel Capital Markets expert to join our team and execute on hotel debt transactions nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deal Origination & Execution: Outsource, negotiate, and structure hotel financing transactions from end-to-end, maximizing efficiency while securing competitive market terms  
  • Capital Sourcing & Placement: Leverage and expand a deep network of hospitality capital providers—including conventional commercial banks/credit unions, debt funds, CMBS platforms, life insurance companies, and programmatic family offices.
  • Financing Structuring & Advisory: Structure complex capital stacks tailored to the hospitality sector, from time sensitive acquisitions, repositioning for a brand conversion, and a ground up construction opportunity  
  • Underwriting & Market Intelligence: Utilize our internal underwriting procedure and collaborate with our technology team to evaluate hotel financial performance, analyze property metrics, assess sales comparables, and create institutional-grade offering memoranda.
  • Relationship & Portfolio Management: Cultivate and maintain deep, long-term relationships with institutional and regional hotel owners, developers, operators, and brand networks to establish a consistent pipeline of repeat business.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: 3 to 10 years of experience in commercial real estate capital markets, commercial mortgage brokerage, investment banking, or hospitality direct lending. A dedicated focus or significant transaction history within the hotel asset class is highly preferred.
  • Location: Preferrable based in New York City to work alongside our executive leadership team at HQ, but remote considered.
  • Track Record: Proven success in sourcing, structuring, and closing CRE debt/equity programs (experience with transactions ranging from $5MM to $25MM+ is a strong plus).
  • Technical: Strong command of hotel real estate metrics, financial modeling, hospitality cash flow dynamics, and structured finance concepts.
  • Mindset: Highly energetic, entrepreneurial, and self-motivated. You possess a "hunter" mentality for deal sourcing, excellent negotiation skills, and the agility to adapt to a fast-scaling fintech platform.
